Short Bio

Yinbin Ma is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC). He is currently in his forth year of study, and is being advised by Professor Daniela Tuninetti. Prior to starting his Ph.D. program, Yinbin earned an M.S. in ECE at UIC and a B.S. in Computer Science at Xidian University. Yinbin's research interests lie in the field of information theory, and he is currently working on the implementation of a coded caching system. His aim is to bridge the gap between theoretical models and practical applications, with the goal of making coded caching a reality in real-world networks.
